Why Choose a Certified Financial Planner™ Practioner?

Financial Planning is only as good as the preparation and skill of the planner. While anyone can call themselves a financial planner, a Certified Financial Planner™ practioner has demonstrated their competency by meeting the educational, examination, experience, and ethical standards set forth by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards. These are referred to as the four E's.

Education: A CFP® professional is required to complete courses on investments, insurance, employee benefits and retirement plans, taxation, and estate planning.

Experience: A CFP® professional is required to have three years of planning experience.

Ethics: A CFP® professional is required to act in the best interest of their clients and ensure all information is kept confidential.

Exam: A CFP® professional must complete a comprehensive two day exam.
